His shirt is in very clean crisp condition, but does have a couple of very small holes that look to be cigarette burns and not moth holes. Also included with this mans grouping is his Air Medal, ribbon, lapel button & ribbon swatch (w/ Oak Leaf Cluster) in coffin case, Good Conduct Medal w/ lapel button, ribbon & ribbon swatch, PH ribbon swatch, Ruptured Duck lapel button, 8th AAF cut-edge patch, 2- AAF cut-edge patches, Master Sgt Chevron, brass belt buckle w/ AAF wing/prop insignia, sweetheart MOTHER mirror w/ yellow and blue piping for AAF in the original package, Army Air Forces "Silhouette Handbook" dated Sept. 1942, US Army Air Forces "Mother" pillow case from Wendover Field Utah (beautiful unused condition) 8th AAF souvenir hankie w/ British made 8th AAF patch embroidered "Greetings from London", and a lot of photos of the vet overseas and in uniform.
I find these photos very interesting, and one is of German POWS working on building an aircraft runway. These original groupings are getting harder to find, but this one will make a great addition to any WWII collection! Thank you and good luck!
