WWII U. S. ARMY AIR CORPS 8th AIR FORCE SHOULDER PATCH BRITISH MADE BULLION

  

Here we have a very fine World War II British made U. 8th Air Force bullion shoulder patch that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of hand embroidered metallic gold bullion thread on a blue wool background. The wings and numeral, "8" are of gold bullion with the center of the star embroidered in red cotton thread.

The bullion is now darkly age toned with gold highlights. The reverse is faced with heavy white muslin fabric.

The patch measures 2½ in diameter and has been carefully removed from a uniform. It remains in excellent condition.
