WWII U. S. ARMY AIR CORPS 8th AIR FORCE PATCH BRITISH MADE BULLION

  
This is an extremely fine World War II British made U. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force patch in bullion that is in excellent condition. It is executed in hand embroidered metallic gold bullion thread on a Melton blue wool background. The red center of the star is embroidered in red cotton thread. The reverse is faced with a black canvas type material through which the exquisite hand done bullion work can be seen. The patch measures 2½ inches in diameter and displays all the quality and craftsmanship for which the British tailors were known.
