This is a superb British made U. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force patch in bullion that is in excellent condition. This is the "up-swept" wing style patch that is executed in hand embroidered metallic gold bullion thread on a Melton blue wool background. The red center of the silver embroidered star is done in red cotton thread. The reverse is faced with black cloth. Measures 2¾ inches in diameter and is with a twisted wire silver border.
