WWII National Cash Register Army Air Forces D-8 Bomb Sight

  

Original WWII D-8 Bomb Sight. Part of a series of pre-WWII D-series bombsights dating back to WWI. The D-8 was designed and made operational during the development of the Norden bombsight. The D-8 is much rarer. It was used early in WWII and also during later training of aircrew transition trainees.

This one is missing some of its finish as shown, but appears in good condition. I have turned cranks and knobs and everything moves as it should.
