Original WWII US Army Air Forces / Army Air Corps flight cap type B-2 with early 1942-dated contract by Perry Sportswear Inc. This cap has the particularity to have been worn by a US Navy pilot, and is identified with rank, last name and unit on the bill.

This VP-43 officer was awarded the DFC in 1944. Comes with original pin back US Navy shirt-size pilot wings affixed to the front of the cap, as found. This is an excellent find!
