WW2 US Army Air Force USAAF Bomber Sperry Gyroscope Bombsight TYPE S-1 M-2 1944. This amazing museum quality piece has never seen active duty and is in great shape on the outside- It still has 2 military tags attached (see pictures). Sperry in 1942, began producing the S-1 M-2 Bombsight, their greatest model. It still has the military tags attached to the unit indicating CONFIDENTIAL seeing as this machine was top secret, and could not fall into enemy hands. It is attached to it's original stand, and comes in its original olive green steel box.

It no doubt has some dry rot on some of the old rubber parts inside. It is dusty from being in storage since WW2, but it can be cleaned up for display or fully restored. I really can't say enough about a piece this rare and just plain neat.

What an amazing piece of history. There is even a liquid level on one side of the machine. The craftsmanship is outstanding and very mechanical. If you have any questions please ask.
