Vtg WWII 1940s Original AAF Army Air Force Flyers Summer Flight Suit Coveralls

  
This offering is for an original WWII 1940's US Army Air Force Summer Weight Cotton Flight Suit or Coveralls. The suit is made of an olive drab cotton material with a zippered front, two patch pockets on the chest and a large pocket on the lower front of each leg. The inside is stamped in white with the US Army Air Force Star in a Circle insignia, there are no other markings or tags. The zipper can be opened from either direction and is equipped with Talon Fishtail pulls at each end.

The condition is very nice but not perfect. The plastic buckle has warped and has a crack on one end. There are a couple of small holes and a few small faded spots. There is also a spot with a couple of holes on the bottom back of the leg. There are no size tags but I would say it's a medium, the full measurements are as given below taken with the garment laying flat.
