Vtg. Avirex Type A-2 Army Air Forces Flight Jacket with Pin-Up Girl / Bird Patch

  

This is an amazing jacket that was made by Avirex back in the 80's. These were designed to mimic the jackets from the Air Force back in WW2.

This one is unlike others I have seen with an awesome double patch on the back! On the inside of the jacket has some printed writing.

The inside also is deteriorating where the fabric is split. The front of the jacket has a great fighting rooster/bird that has his hands up in fisticuffs style. The cuffs and some other places have some wear where the leather has been worn a bit. Overall the jacket has a great feel and a very awesome distressed appearance.
