Please note that the tag you see in the last photograph is NOT the tag on the hat you'll receive. That tag photograph I found on Google and it's easier to read than the tag on the hat you'll receive. Scarce US Army Air Forces / Air Corps / Airborne wool knit cap type A-4. Typical WWII-era construction w/ crown-type top, large seam on the side and tighter weave at the bottom of finished edge. It has its original contract tag on the INSIDE that is very small.

It was manufactured by Goodwear. Overall VERY nice condition for the age. A small stain on the side.

No obvious holes anywhere, but there's a small section where the edge is frayed a bit (see photos). Please know that all photographs are taken against a white background with the flash firing on my camera. The exact shade of green will probably vary slightly in person than you see in the photos.
