US WW2 Army Air Force Pin Back Sterling Aerial Gunner Wings 3 Moody Bros M332

For sale here is a great looking US WW2 Army Air Corps Aerial Gunner's Wing. These Wings are 3 wide. THESE WINGS ARE BY A RARE MAKER AND ARE INITIALED AND UNIT MARKED ON THE BACK!!! The Wings are pin back with a functional roller lock catch. The pin has a period repair with wire for the hinge pin!

The pin is silver and opens to about 110 degrees. The wings are die struck and are nice and crisp. The Wing features amazing detail with a separately applied Gunner insignia. The back of the Wing is smooth with a scalloped center.

The entire wing has an extremely dark patina with the exception of the pin, catch, and a few high points. It almost looks like it has been painted black on the front! The wings are marked Sterling Moody Bros L. On the back left, the wing has the initials ERG hand scratched with an underline, and on the back right side, the wings appear to be marked 6824. This Wing will make a great addition to any collection.
