US Army Air Forces WWII Leather Flight Suit Pants

  

Authentic Piece of a WWII era flight suit with no tears or wearing through of the sheepskin leather, these are in excellent condition compared to many of the examples out there on the market today. They appear to potentially be NOS due to the lack of typical wear on every part of this piece.

This originally would have been issued with a leather flight jacket of the same material and would make up only the outer layer of the flight suit. The leather is still pliable however it is thin and may be fragile. The only area with some minor wear to the leather is the crotch area of the pants where it looks like it could have been folded when placed into storage. The leather is worn here with some minor flaking. There is also some minor discoloration and abrasion along the edge seams toward the bottom of the pant legs.

All of the zippers function without being bound up on anything and the fur lining on the interior is in great shape, no water damage or areas where it is coming apart are visible. This is an example of a rare piece in great condition. The item pictured is the exact item for sale.
