This is a nice find. It is an original 1944 issue USAAF Type A-11 Intermediate leather flying helmet. Helmet is in very good overall condition. Leather is soft and supple. Original label indicates this is a size large. Chin strap assembly is complete and functional. Factory applied oxygen mask snaps. The A-11 was a favored flying helmet. This helmet is a nice example of the A-11 Intermediate flying helmet. If there is a problem or concern contact me and Ill make it right.
