This watch is an automatic. It is wound from the natural movement from your arm or by manually winding of the crown. This impressive 25 jeweled beauty and last of the 1st gen classics, is apx 14-15 years young yet remains in an overall very good to near excellent shape for its age. The piece attracts a lot of interest and eyes naturally gravitate to it.

Closer inspection reveals a beautiful slightly domed sapphire crystal that appears to be mark free. Possibly a hairline or two to the anti glare coating but difficult to tell. Minor scuff & scratch marks can be seen to remaining areas of the metals with most wear marks found to bracelet and clasp but nothing too pronounced or worth writing home over. Deployment style clasp is fully operational.

Keeps excellent date & time. Truly a marvelous looking watch as seen in the hi-res pic's (looks better in hand then what is shown). This one is certainly one worth adding to any serious collection to proudly display. Watch is keeping about as good of time as you will find for a high end automatic. Not quite as good as a quartz watch but well within factory tolerance and expectation levels. Having said that, No warranties are made, expressed or implied as to the watches timing accuracy. Automatics do require periodic servicing through the years. ALL chrono functions operate as intended and return to zero positions when re-set. Chronograph Model (60 Sec, 30 Min, 12 hour Sub Dials). Polished Scratch Proof Anti-Glare Domed Sapphire Crystal. Solid Brushed SS Fixed Position Bezel & Polished SS Case. Beautiful Dark Charcoal Dial w/Super Lume Hands & Markers. Semi Polished Stainless Steel Screwed-Down Case Back.

Supple Leather Strap w/Signed Air Force Buckle & SS Bracelet. Some specifics : Watch measures apx 1 9/16 or 40mm across case excluding crown, crown guards, lugs and chrono pushers. Thickness is a chunky 14mm. Width between the lugs is 20 mm.

Bracelet is currently sized for an apx 7 3/4" to 8" wrist circumference (or smaller). Extra supple leather strap is fully adjustable from the deployment style buckle. With signed Swiss Air Force logo. Included is the watch, extra leather strap and a genuine Swiss Army presentation box (not original to watch).

No manual but watch is relatively EZ to operate. Chrono manuals can be downloaded off the internet if so needed.

Just attach to wrist & go (or fly)!! The perfect watch for any activity but too nice for work unless you are a fighter pilot. E very effort will be made to package securely so it arrives safely.
