Rare 1950's Vintage Marx Army & Air Force Training Center Play Set Complete

  
Vintage Louis Marx Army & Air Force Training Center Play Set. This Marx play set is a hard to find "Army & Air Force Training Center" play set, No. 1149 (marked on the side of it's box). Interestingly, and despite the title, it includes figures from the U. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marines. Also, I don't remember there being any "office equipment" as the box says. I was given this play set for Christmas around the mid 1950's and it has been part of my collection ever since.

I now want to pass it on to a serious collector that can appreciate it as the awesome Louis Marx product that it is. Things being what they are, there may be a very few missing pieces. Most of the pieces are in pristine condition. (except as noted below and in the photos). The set includes, military figures, air and ground vehicles, fencing, military equipment, the lithographed tin HQ Building, and the graphically printed box.

All pieces are original to this set to the best of my knowledge. The original printed box and cardboard separators (very good condition as noted above and the photos). The lithographed tin HQ Building, marked TI - 12 (printed inside and outside). Fourteen (14) dark brown interlocking sections of log rail fence (1 section has a broken foot). 2 - F7U-1 Cutlass (one has a broken wing).

Missile Launcher with compass (broken, parts are included for possible reassembly). Three (3) Missiles (red, white, and yellow). Twenty-Six (26) Army Figures (dark brown). Six (6) Pup Tents 3 dark brown & 3.

Complete flag, pole, & base. Two (2) Trash Can Stations.

Missing 3 machine gun tripods dark brown &. Five (5) paper bags that held figures, printed with content description and part no. I will disassemble and flatten the building so that I can fit everything into 1 box. Thank You for your interest.
