Original WW2 A-2 Flight Jacket Air Force US Army Horsehide Aero Beacon 50 RARE

  
Up on the block is this Original World War II Aero Leather Clothing Company A2. It's in good condition for it's 80 plus years, and I've resisted the urge to bathe it in Pecards--I'll save that pleasure for the new owner. Measurements with the jacket laid flat. Shoulder seam to cuff 25.5.

Shoulder to shoulder: 19.5. Measured at the front of the jacket.

Measured from the back collar seam to waistband 26. The jacket has a fully working rare Kwik zipper.

There are some mold stains and some drying to the hide, but in my experience I've cleaned and conditioned worse shape jackets to excellent wearable condition. As above, it's a size 50, I believe the largest they made, which is also quite rare. The knitted cuffs and waistband are in good shape.

The lining has some small tears at the collar (pictured) and by the armpit--this is NOT significant. Add a piece of history to your collection!
