The camera is in remarkable condition and is an early (1941) AC contract. It has some yellow number stenciled on it. It appears to be in good working condition. The side handle cranks smoothly, and the trigger does release the mechanism when pressed.
The top aiming glass locks, unlocks and swivels easily. Most of the crackled finish remains. The box is good condition and has its original leather covered handle. It shows some cracks on the paint. It is marked :"Aircraft, Camera type K-20 - Handle with care". This marking was first stenciled in white, and stenciled again in yellow. It is also marked "USAF" in yellow, which indicates that this camera was also used by the USAF in the post-war years. Would make a great WWII bomber-related display!
