Original DDR East German Army Air Force Border Guard Officer Dagger dated 1989

  
Original later style DDR East German Officer dress dagger used by the Army, Air Force and Border Guard officers. Dagger is showing signs of light use with marks on the blade from dagger being removed from scabbard. The blade is serial numbered: 081953 and has no manufacture's stamp. The grip has a nice cream marbled color to it. This dagger some with matching serial numbered, 1989 dated certificate and matching serial number sticker on the box (See photos).

The green carboard box does have some wear and damage to it (see Photos). A true Cold War veteran worn by an East German Officer. This has been in my collection for over 20 years.
