This is a nice find. It is an original 1944 issue USAAF Type A-11 Intermediate leather flying helmet. Helmet is in very good overall condition. Leather is very soft and supple. Chamois is clean and excellent.

Original label indicates this is a desirable size large. Chin strap assembly is complete and functional.

The A-11 was a favored flying helmet. This helmet is a fine example of the A-11 Intermediate flying helmet. Includes factory installed ANB-H-1 earphone receivers. If there is a problem or concern contact me and Ill make it right.
