WWII US Army Air Forces Jacket - from an unidentified Sergeant. The jacket has a few areas of wear and discoloration (see pictures) on the back. Overall in very good condition. There is a nice China-Burma-India theatre made shoulder patch on the right shoulder; bullion has toning throughout, some threads are slightly loose (see pictures), but overall in very good condition.

There is some light discoloration and wear on the red and blue threading of the patch. Both Sergeant chevrons on the sleeves have light wear and light fading. Stitching is sound for both. On the left shoulder is the theatre made HQ AAF patch; bullion has toning in parts, some threading has broken and come undone.

The patch itself has a small 1/4 section near the bottom where the stitching to the jacket has come undone. Below near the cuff is three overseas bars, also theatre made; bullion has toning, some fraying throughout.

The Aerial Gunner Wings are marked STERLING on the back and have a small spot of dark colored substance on the front of the wings. The two collar disks are screw back and have wear, scuffing and blemishing throughout. Along with the jacket is an overseas cap found inside the front right coat pocket. Similar condition to the jacket, no markings or identification on the cap. Bottom of collar to bottom of jacket - 30.5 approx. Armpit to end of sleeve - 16.5 approx. Chest - Stamped 38L inside the jacket near the collar. Shirt, Tie and Mannequin are not with the listing and are for display purposes only. Reference pictures for detail and quality.
