WWII US Army Air Force Norden M-9 Bombsight

The Norden bombsight was crucial to the success of the U. Army Air Forces' daylight bombing campaign during World War II.

Initially developed by Carl Norden for the U. Navy, the Army Air Corps acquired its first Norden bombsight in 1932.

Highly classified, it gave American forces bombing accuracy unmatched by any other nation at the time. This bombsight has its original identification plate.

The serial number on the plate matches the serial number stamped on the end of the sight as shown in the pictures. Also included in this listing are 17 pages from the manual. The pages are photo copies. I do not have the original manual. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
