Vintage Cold War Era US Air Force Pilot's Helmet. Possible Pre Produciton Test Insert? Here we have a nice Vintage Cold War Era US Air Force Pilots Helmet w/ MSA 1961 Insert (Looks like the shape of a WWII M-3 Helmet)! Not sure what the insert is for but the helmet came out of the estate of a vietnam era engineer sadly no other info was available.

The helmet is in good used shape with some general wear and tear throughout from usage and storage as pictured, the liner has some internal structural cracking/veining throughout though they do not go through the outer layer of the liner. I have taken a TON of pictures of this AWESOME piece so please look at them all and ask any questions before purchasing!
