US Army Air Force B-15 Original Authentic Vintage WW 2 Flight Jacket

Army Air Force B-15 Intermediate Flight Jacket was initially introduced as a replacement for the earlier flight jackets like the A-2 or the B-3. Highly favored due to its sharp appearance and higher comfort, it was not only worn by fighter aces of the U. Army Air Forces, but also by other branches of the U.

Later models were made of nylon but the first version was made with a cotton outer shell, making it the last cotton cloth flight jacket. Outer shell made of heavy cotton cloth. Genuine plush mouton fur collar in gold brown. Circular knit cuffs and waistband. Original 1940s zipper with leather tab.

Has been in the family ever since. It is in very good condition for its age. Light wear at cuffs and waistband. One tear on right sleeve next to cuff has been repaired.

One stain on lower back. Photos show other smaller things.

Our last name is on the hanger tab; that could probably come out but I don't know what to recommend. It's really comfortable, very warm, and looks as authentic as it is.
