Original WWII US Army Air Force wool AAF Type B-1 flight cap named size 7 1/8. The condition is consistent with very light or no use.

An original Type B-1 cap is hard to find AAF clothing, and is rare in such nice condition. The cap was from a local WWII AAF crewman, and his name and serial number are clearly written on the inside of the sweat band. The cap has been in my collection for at least 20 years.
