Army Air Forces Pilots Type A-11 Leather Flying Helmet- Large

This is a nice find. It is an original 1944 issue USAAF Type A-11 Intermediate leather flying helmet. Helmet is in very good overall condition. Leather is very soft and supple. Golden chamois is clean and good. Original label indicates this is a desirable size large. Beautiful wing & star insignia on the top. Chin strap assembly is complete and functional. The A-11 was a favored flying helmet. This helmet is a fine example of the A-11 Intermediate flying helmet. If there is a problem or concern contact me and Ill make it right.
