Army Air Corps 8th Air Forces Type B-6 High Altitude Helmet

This is a rare and hard to find flying helmet. Original label indicates this is a Type B-6.

This style of helmet was a standard issue of heavy bombers crews of the 8. Army Air Forces in England.

It is an early issue helmet. Generously sheepskin lined , it is complete with Air Corps leather ear cups and complete with the chin strap assembly.

It is marked as a size medium. Helmet is in excellent overall condition with NO rips or tears. It is a stunning helmet. Few if any of these turn up complete with the leather ear cups. Get this helmet and remember those braves crews of the Mighty Eighth.
